LIVEABOARD mit der BB-BRYAN

BB Bryan Safarischiff Safaroboot

It is no longer a secret that the Philippines has the greatest biodiversity in the world. The main dive center are the Visayas, which form the central area of the Philippines. Best diving areas / dive sites are around Bohol, Cebu, Negros - Dauin, Leyte Island and the small offshore islands of Balicasag, Panglao, Pamilacan, Sumilon, Apo Island and the underwater plateau Snake Island.

If you take a look at all of the best dive sites in the Philippines, you will find that we have included the very best dive sites in the Philippines in our liveaboard. Within just a few days you can experience these fantastic diving areas with us in complete relaxation!

If you don't want to go on a diving safari, you should definitely dive at the dive sites around Balicasag, because the dive sites are among the best diving areas in the world due to their biodiversity and underwater landscape, as is Apo Island!

You can find detailed descriptions and information on the individual diving areas and dive sites of the Visayas - Philippines on our new homepage. But the icing on our safaris is much bigger: In the period between November and May you have a good chance of watching whale sharks, as they pass by the island of Leyte during this time. The trips take place in cooperation with the organization LAMAVE (www.lamave.org), which among other things takes care of the observance of the rules: For example, only snorkeling is allowed, touching the animals is prohibited and you have to keep a minimum distance. Anyone who violates this can take the entire ship back to the resort. On these snorkeling trips, spotters help locate the whale sharks: in small outrigger boats, Filipinos drive around in the "Whale Shark Bay" and guide the snorkelers to the animals. It works well, but you still have to have a bit of strength in your legs if you are not lucky enough to have several of these gigantic fish at the spot. It is definitely an unforgettable experience, even if you have snorkeled after one of these giants. There are also dive sites nearby, so you may be lucky enough to encounter whale sharks while diving. You can find information on South Leyte (whale sharks) >HERE<.

Anda Bohol Island

If you do not go on a diving safari and visit the island of Bohol, you should definitely dive here in Anda, because the 26 km long dive area is considered the most extensive dive sites in Bohol. The best dive sites are not far from each other. An absolute highlight is the great house reef, which you can dive independently after briefing and depending on the level of training. The flat area alone is exciting - especially at night. Really thick sea snakes frolic here, you can see many slugs, including fat fat sea bunnies, sleeping puffer fish and crabs as well as shrimps and crabs in bulk. Sepia also feel comfortable here. What we particularly liked was the night snorkeling. Already when paddling over the reef roof you can see a lot - and when the banded sea snakes swoop back and forth under you, it is simply unforgettable.

Cabilao Island Diving

is mainly around the island of Cabilao (13 diving spots), with day trips being offered from time to time. But not regularly. So if you are longing for a day tour and there is no one on the board, you should simply speak to the crew of the dive center. She always has an open ear for the guests' wishes - which also applies to the other two resorts visited and also affects the resort staff. The trips around Cabilao are made in smaller speed boats, for day trips (and groups) there are two outrigger boats. The spots around Cabilao offer a great mix, especially of steep walls with large gorgonians as well as hard and soft corals and sand and seagrass areas. Here too, the focus is on finding small and microorganisms. The biodiversity here is just as rich and gigantic as at the two previous resorts. Also very nice is the house reef, which you can reach (with feet!) After wading through the flat area. Snorkelers will also get their money's worth here - and the tip for the Polaris Resort is also to snorkel here at night. Simple is more than exciting!
